Who we are

The Services are provided by Show Goods LLC, doing business as The Show Goods Co. ("Show Goods", "we", "us"), 105 W. 86th St., #218, New York, NY 10024. Email hello@showgoodsco.com.

Some Services are offered together with our affiliate Broadway Media Distribution, Inc. ("Broadway Media"), for example StagePlayer and the backdrop library in Stage Studio Pro. When Broadway Media collects information for its own business, such as scenery rentals and purchases on broadwaymedia.com, Broadway Media's privacy policy also applies to that information.

If your school, district or organization has a signed agreement with us about data, such as a data privacy agreement, that agreement controls where it differs from this policy.

What we collect

Information you give us

• Contact details, such as your name, email address, phone number and mailing address.
• Account details, such as your username, password and profile.
• Professional details, such as your school, theatre or organization, your role, and the productions you're working on, including titles and dates.
• Content you create, upload or store in the Services, such as show files, cues, media, plans, schedules and notes, and the names and contact details of collaborators you invite.
• Purchase and billing details. Payment card details are handled by our payment processors.
• Anything you send us by email, through a form, in a support request, a survey, at an event or on social media, including attachments.
• Your sign-ups, preferences and the topics you tell us you're interested in.

Information collected automatically

• Device and connection details, such as IP address, browser, operating system, device type, app version, language and screen size.
• Approximate location, worked out from your IP address.
• How you use the Services, such as the pages and screens you view, features you use, links you click, how long you stay, what you search for, the page that sent you to us, and the dates and times of your visits.
• App diagnostics, such as crash reports, performance data, and licence and activation details.
• Cookie identifiers, advertising identifiers and similar identifiers.
• Whether you open our emails and which links you click in them.

Cookies, pixels and similar technologies

We and third parties, including analytics, advertising and social media companies, use cookies, pixels, tags, scripts, software development kits and similar technologies in the Services and in our emails. They help us run the Services, understand how they're used, remember your preferences, measure our marketing, and show you ads for Show Goods and its brands on other websites, apps and platforms. These third parties may collect information about your activity in the Services and across other sites and services over time.

Information from other sources

We may receive information about you from our affiliates, including Broadway Media and Stage Gear; from schools, districts and organizations that set up accounts; from people who invite you to collaborate; from business partners, event organizers and advertising and social media platforms; from data providers; and from public sources, such as school and theatre websites and directories. We may combine it with information we already hold.

Inferences

We may draw conclusions from the information above, such as your likely interests, your role in a production and which of our brands may be relevant to you.

How we use information

• To provide, maintain, secure and improve the Services, including creating and managing accounts and processing purchases.
• To answer your messages and provide support.
• To send you service messages, such as receipts, security alerts and changes to the Services.
• To send you newsletters, product news, offers and other marketing from Show Goods and its brands.
• To personalize what you see in the Services and in our emails.
• To show you interest-based and targeted advertising on other websites, apps and platforms, including by building audiences with advertising and social media platforms (for example, by sharing a protected, hashed version of your email address).
• To measure and analyze how the Services, emails and ads perform.
• To research and develop products and services.
• To detect and prevent fraud, abuse and security incidents.
• To comply with the law, enforce our terms and protect our rights and the rights of others.
• For any other purpose we describe when we collect the information, or with your consent.

How we share information

• Affiliates. With Broadway Media and other companies under common ownership or control, for the purposes in this policy, including their own marketing.
• Service providers. With companies that work on our behalf, such as hosting, email, payment, analytics, customer support and marketing providers.
• Advertising and analytics partners. With advertising networks, social media platforms and analytics companies, so they can show you ads and measure them. Under some US state laws, this may count as "selling" or "sharing" personal information, or as "targeted advertising".
• Your organization and collaborators. If your account is provided by a school, district or organization, with that organization. Content you share with collaborators is visible to them.
• Business transfers. As part of a merger, acquisition, financing, sale of assets or similar transaction, or during negotiations for one.
• Legal reasons. When we believe it's required by law or legal process, or needed to protect the rights, property or safety of Show Goods, our users or others.
• With your permission. When you ask us to or agree to it.

We may also share information that has been aggregated or de-identified so that it no longer identifies you.

Your privacy choices

• Opt out of targeted advertising, sales and sharing. Email hello@showgoodsco.com with "Privacy opt-out" in the subject line, or use the control above.
• Global Privacy Control. We treat a Global Privacy Control signal from your browser as a request to opt out of selling, sharing and targeted advertising for that browser. When we detect the signal, we don't load advertising tags.
• Cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some parts of the Services may not work as well without them.
• Interest-based ads. You can opt out of interest-based ads from many companies at optout.aboutads.info and optout.networkadvertising.org, and through the ad settings of the platforms you use.
• Marketing emails. Use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email. We'll still send service messages about your account and requests.

Opting out of targeted advertising doesn't stop all ads. You may still see ads that aren't based on your activity.

We don't respond to "Do Not Track" browser signals, other than Global Privacy Control as described above.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to get a copy of it, to correct it, to delete it, and to opt out of its sale, sharing, targeted advertising or certain profiling. To make a request, email hello@showgoodsco.com with "Privacy request" in the subject line.

We'll confirm your identity before acting on a request. You can use an authorized agent, and we may ask for proof that they're acting for you. If we decline your request, you can appeal by replying to our decision. We won't treat you differently for using these rights.

How long we keep information

We keep information for as long as your account is active or as we need it for the purposes in this policy, including legal, accounting and reporting needs. After that, we delete it or de-identify it.

Children and students

The Services are designed for the adults who lead productions. Anyone who creates an account confirms that they are at least 18, or that they are at least 13 and have permission from a parent or guardian. The Services aren't directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them. We don't knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16. If you believe a child under 13 has given us personal information, email hello@showgoodsco.com and we'll delete it.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect information. No website, app or system is completely secure, so we can't guarantee the security of information you send us.

Users outside the United States

The Services are run from the United States. If you use them from elsewhere, your information will be transferred to, stored and processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those where you live.

Other websites and services

The Services link to websites and services we don't control. Their own privacy policies apply when you use them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll post the new version here and change the effective date. If we make material changes, we'll take reasonable steps to let you know, such as a notice in the Services or by email.

This policy is effective as of October 6, 2026.
